In addition to complex orthopedic and specialized surgical procedures performed in our hospital by a board-certified veterinary surgeon, we also partner with a board-certified veterinary radiologist specializing in advanced ultrasound technology to provide expert diagnostic imaging for your pet. By combining the personalized attention of your trusted Tri-County veterinary team with the expertise of board-certified specialists, we deliver seamless communication, continuity of care, and exceptional outcomes throughout every stage of your pet’s diagnosis, treatment, and recovery.
PLEASE NOTE: your pet will first be evaluated by one of our experienced staff veterinarians, who will perform a thorough examination, review any diagnostic imaging, and determine the most appropriate treatment plan for your pet. If specialized surgery or ultrasound is recommended, we then contact and schedule your pet’s appointment with the board-certified consultant to perform these procedures at Tri-County Animal Hospital.
Christopher J. Dillon, DVM, DACVS (Surgery)

Dr. Dillon is a graduate of Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine. He has worked in general private practice for several years in West Hartford CT prior to completing a surgical internship/residency at the Animal Medical Center in New York City. Dr. Dillon has developed a strong interest in reconstructive surgery as it relates to trauma and in the treatment of cancer, with other interests in soft tissue and neurosurgery.
He is currently a consultant surgeon for Tri-County Animal Hospital in Wayne, NJ.
Dr. Kyle Francis, DVM, MS, DACVR

Dr. Francis grew up in northeast Ohio and attended The (yes, it’s required) Ohio State University, College of Veterinary Medicine, graduating in 2002. He worked at a mixed animal practice for one year before moving to Lyndhurst, NJ in 2003 and working at an emergency clinic in Fairfield (Animal Emergency and Referral Associates) for nearly 2 years and then an advanced imaging facility in Clifton (Veterinary MRI and RT Center of NJ) for 3 years. He then moved back to Columbus to complete a residency in Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging/Radiology at The Ohio State University in 2011. Since completing his residency, Dr. Francis has been providing mobile ultrasound and diagnostic imaging interpretation/teleradiology for northeast New Jersey since that time.
