Can’t say enough about Tri County and the Dr’s and staff. My dad has an older dog and has his own vet. Unfortunately, on Monday Rusty was suffering terribly. We called his vet of 2 years at 8:10 and explained what was going on with Rusty and we believed it was time we let him go. They informed me they have no Dr. until 9am and no openings until 11:40. I went on to say you must have consideration for an emergency of this sort, they didn’t. I hung up and called my vet Tri County, explained I have a unique situation and explained. They asked if we can be there by 8:40am. When we got there we saw Dr. Torres immediately, she evaluated him with all information we can provide about his history. She gave us options, including putting Rusty to rest, however, we felt it was time for him to go. The staff was absolutely amazing. They handled the matter with ease, care and compassion. Thank you so much! Shannen HealyApril 12, 2024Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Thank you Tri-County Animal Hospital for taking such great care of our fur babies! Bette, Dori, Kano and Kobalt love when they get to see all their friends at the vet! Dr. Silberman and Dr. Torres are compassionate, patient, and highly skilled doctors. We trust them wholeheartedly with our dogs. Brianna and Marni are always so sweet and accommodating when we need an appointment, and the team of vet assistants are always so kind! We will continue to recommend Tri-County to friends and family, and we’re so grateful they’re our ‘vet for life’! ???? Everyone at the office is a pleasure to speak with by phone and in person. We come all the way out of NYC to see Dr. Torres and the team. Worth the trip every time!

“Our dogs mean the world to us and on behalf of Jack and Bentley, we want to thank Dr. Silberman for his competency, professionalism, compassion, and his genuine concern for the health of our dogs and for the health of all animals in his care. He and his staff are pleasant during routine dog tail-wagging office visits, and are quick to calmly and efficiently respond to emergency situations. When we hug our dear dogs, we feel grateful for having a Vet who truly cares and who provides our family with a peace of mind.”

“Dr. Silberman, plain and simple, treats our dogs with such kindness and compassion that we know he cares for them as if they were his own. As long-time animal lovers and guardians, this means so much to us, as we put the lives of our beloved family members in his hands. Dr. Silberman has gone above in taking care of both animals and their people, and listens to us all! No concern too trivial, no symptom too minor. He is highly competent, professional, and extremely knowledgeable, but, beyond science, Dr. Silberman treats our animals as much with his heart as he does with medicine.”

“Dr. Silberman is marvelous, highly qualified, and shows a great interest for all pets When I first brought my gravely ill puppy into his office, I feared the worst. He was patient and took the time to explain the life- saving procedure my pet would endure. I am happy to say my dog is doing well, several years later and is the light of my life. Anytime I may have a question or concern, he and his staff always make the time for my pet’s needs. Dr. Silberman’s veterinary practice provides excellent pet health care as well as providing the pet owner with peace of mind.”

“My health plan requires me to choose a primary care physician, maybe your health insurance does too. I know that when I made my choice I wanted a doctor I not only felt comfortable with, but who also had my health at heart. Why do I mention this? Because as a pet parent I want the same for my boys, Hanz a 9 year old Miniature Schnauzer and Dutch a not quite 2 year old Bouvier Des Flanders. From my very first introduction to Dr. Silberman I knew instantly he was the right doctor for their care. And CARE is the key word. There are numerous Doctors of Veterinary Medicine out there, what separates Dr. Silberman form everyone else? What he does as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine comes from his heart. That is a very special distinction in my book and why I have continued to follow Dr. Silberman from Nutley to Caldwell and now to his very own practice in Wayne!”

“Dr. Silberman is an absolute Godsend in our book!We met Dr. Silberman approximately 4 years ago while at a major crossroads in our pets veterinary care. The only vet our dog had ever trusted had just moved away, and we were now desperately seeking a doctor who could provide the compassion and care our pet required. That all changed the day we went in for an emergency visit, and as luck would have it, we met Dr. Silberman. Our dog Atlas suffered from a painful nail disorder. Dr. Silberman took the time to develop a relationship and gain Atlas’s trust and ours, before providing the excellent care that both our dog and we so greatly needed. Throughout these past 4 years, I cannot imagine going through our pets’ ups and downs with any other doctor! Knowing Doc Silberman is always there when we need him to be, takes a great amount of stress and worry off our minds when Atlas needs a visit, for whatever the reason.Dr. Silberman is more than your typical veterinarian, his bedside manor and excellent care shows how much he cherishes the relationship between a pet and their family. As Atlas has aged, and we are faced with the unthinkable, we are comforted now by the same care and compassion Dr. Silberman has shown since day one. We are and will forver be eternally grateful for everything Dr. Silberman has done for us and for our first “Baby.”

“How do you explain the peace of mind that you receive after a visit or a phone conversation with Dr. Silberman? My miniature schnauzers were prone to every breed related problem that there is. Dr. Silberman did everything to make Scooter’s last few years as comfortable as possible. He was always there for us to answer any questions or concerns and never let me feel that I was being an overprotective parent. Scooter passed at 17 last year and I have no regrets because I did everything that was suggested to make his life better. Smoki is still with us at 11 and he has been under Dr. Silberman’s loving, compassionate care also. Dr. Silberman was there for us through Smoki’s several hospital stays. From one animal lover to another, give Dr. Silberman a chance, I assure you that you will not be disappointed.”

“I am so excited that Dr. Silberman has opened his own practice–FINALLY! He has been my dog’s veterinarian for at least the last five years (probably longer, but who can remember). I initially saw him when he worked in Nutley. Since then, I moved from Kearny down toward Princeton. Dr. Silberman provided me with a few referrals to veterinarians who were close to my house but, honestly, not one ever came CLOSE to the level of care he provides. Here are a few reasons why:
(1) My dog loves him–he lets her jump on him and kiss him to her heart’s content. How many dogs like going to the vet?
(2) He knows his stuff! Everything from the routine check-up to surgery–trust me, I’ve been through it all with him!
(3) He explains tests, issues, and possibilities to me better than any doctor (human or animal) I’ve ever encountered.
Needless to say, it’s a good thing my dog loves long car trips because I would drive just about anywhere so that she could be seen by Dr. Silberman. If you are looking for a veterinarian, I strongly suggest you give this practice a try.”

“State of the Art! Dr. Silberman has opened a new veterinary clinic in Wayne, NJ and I couldn’t be happier – several years ago when he was with Little Falls Animal Hospital, he saved my puppy’s life. We adopted a rescue puppy who was just 6 weeks old – had him 1 short week and he fell ill – very ill – Dr. Silberman diagnosed Parvo – a heartbreaking virus that many puppies do not survive. He kept my pup for a week, on IV and gave him lots of love (and let me come visit anytime I wanted) – well – he survived and is now 8 years old and as healthy as can be. I’m so glad he is back in the area and I will be bringing my dog in for his annual check up and shots. He is a very caring and compassionate doctor and will care for your pets as he would his own. I Highly recommend this Animal Hospital.”

“I have been seeing Dr. Silberman for several years and am so happy that he has opened up his own practice. Tri-County Animal Hospital is a beautiful facility. It’s immaculate, the staff is wonderfully attentive, and it even smells like fresh baked cookies in the waiting room! My dog absolutely loves Dr. Silberman, and so do I. He is great about explaining everything he is doing clearly and so I can understand, and he’s happy to answer all of my questions no matter how silly they are. I wouldn’t take my dog anywhere else.”

“I recently visited Tri-County Animal Hospital for the first time and I couldn’t be happier. Walking in, I was greeted by a smiling and friendly office staff and the smell of fresh baked cookies! The office is beautiful and spotless. Dr. Silberman was right on time for my appointment, had a warm and friendly demeanor, and made both myself and my two dogs feel comfortable. He was very thorough when examining my dogs, and he very clearly explained everything that he was doing. I couldn’t be happier with Dr. Silberman’s service, medical knowledge, and bedside manner. I will definitely be going back to Tri-County Animal Hospital!”

“Not sure what it is about the hospital and the staff, but it’s the first place I’ve been to that my cats have not hissed and coward in the back of their crate! The team is professional and affectionate to my furry little kids and I’m incredibly happy with the level of care I receive from them.”

“Words can’t explain how grateful I am for finding Dr. Silberman. Not only is he extremely knowledgeable on veterinary medicine but he also truly cares for the animals he treats. The best example of his dedication comes from personal experience. I was a new pet owner and at less than one year old, my puppy started to limp. The pain became so bad that he was unable to walk. I had taken him to my previous vet who was unable to diagnose him even after a multitude of expensive tests. I was scared for him and didn’t know where to turn. After sharing my story with a friend, they recommended Dr. Silberman. I took my puppy in to see him and with one set of x-rays he diagnosed my dog with a genetic condition. He didn’t order unnecessary tests or put my dog through any extra stress. Not only did Dr. Silberman diagnose him and provided me with the information I needed, but he answered all my questions, addressed my concerns and made sure I was comfortable with everything. Following surgery, he called everyday to check on his patient until we went in for our follow up visit. Now my dog is happy, pain free and playful. I decided after that surgery that Dr. Silberman would be my new vet. I take both my dogs to Dr. Silberman now because I know if I need advice or I have a concern he is always there, even if it’s a Tuesday evening or Sunday morning. Since my first visit to Dr. Silberman I have moved about 45 minutes away from his practice, but I don’t hesitate to make the drive. I trust him and would drive even further if need be to have him care for my animals. If you consider your pets a part of your family as I do, then they need a veterinarian like Dr. Silberman.”
